The Sales team at Paradox is all about helping and making an impact. We've seen how transformative our software has been for businesses around the world and we have BIG goals for expanding our client base even more. Our Sales Interns (we call them "Talent Experience Specialists") play a critical role in the growth of our company by researching and identifying prospective new clients who can benefit from our products, and building meaningful relationships as we move them through the sales process. In this internship, you'll learn the role of Business Development, receive professional development opportunities, and have a direct impact on Paradox and our clients.

As a Sales Intern, you will be responsible for helping Paradox build relationships and drive business growth through new client acquisition. In this role, you will: 

  • Research and identify prospective new customers (we call them "clients") who can benefit from our products
  • Reach out to potential clients through outbound cold calling, emailing, and other creative approaches to building new connections
  • Kick off the sales cycle by creating meaningful relationships with prospects, engaging in consultative conversations that get them excited to consider Paradox solutions
  • Book meetings between prospects and Account Executives, meeting or exceeding your weekly goals for qualified meetings
  • Challenge yourself to grow personally and professionally by participating in our summer intern program's learning opportunities and networking events
  • Participate in cross-functional internship programming intended to support professional and personal growth over the course of the summer 


Experience & Skills Required

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, graduating Winter 2025 or Spring 2026
  • Previous customer-facing work or internship experience, such as customer service, sales, recruiting, or similar roles 
  • A track record of excellence and distinction, such as leadership roles, awards/scholarships, or other personal accomplishments 
  • Excellent communication skills & professional phone presence
  • Driven to make an impact and exceed sales goals
  • Can commit to a 12-week onsite summer internship in our Scottsdale, AZ or Chicago, IL offices (out-of-state students are welcome!) 
  • Authorization to work in the United States
