Back-end Web Developer (Queue Systems)

Job requirements:

- Information Technology or Computer Science background.

- 3+ years of experience working on web system. It would be a plus if you have knowledge and experience with Python and Django framework.

- Strong understanding of asynchronous queue management systems, particularly Celery and RabbitMQ.

- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and AWS SQS.

- Understanding of publisher/subscriber models and message patterns.

- Knowledge of cloud-based queue services and scaling.

- Ability to monitor queue health and performance.

- Skills in identifying bottlenecks and optimizing throughput.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Must have a proactive mindset.

- Be able to communicate effectively in English.

Bonus skills! These are optional but it would be nice if you also have:

- Proficiency in using SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with other message brokers or queue systems is a plus.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Kibana.

- Prior experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

What you will do:

- Design and develop robust queue-based systems using Python Django, Celery, and RabbitMQ.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of queue systems within the AWS infrastructure.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and monitoring.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient codes.

- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise practical solutions to these problems.

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
